Unique Wedding Favors for each Table

Although it is rare a few couples choose to offer unique wedding favors for each table. Though it is standard practice to give each guest the same favor, the favors are changed if the centerpieces vary from table to table.





This is a great idea when the couple have not settled on an over all theme for the wedding. A different theme for each table results in a different favor for each table. The pros and cons of offering unique wedding favors is discussed in this article.

A clear advantage as it prevents the couple from selecting jut one wedding favor. As there area wide variety of wedding favors to select from, it is rather a difficult for the couple to select one favor. They may not agree on a single favor as appropriate or they may like different favors and cannot narrow down their differences. In such cases it is a great idea to give a different wedding favors at each table.

Second advantage is that the couple can branch out and choose many different themes or one overall theme which they change from table to table. This process is full of fun for the couple and they enjoy it. If the couple in any way are stressed too much, better they stick to one wedding favor as planning different favors is a taxing experience.

A major disadvantage in a offering unique favors at each table is that the couple will not get discounts for bulk orders. Discounts are readily offered to orders of the same favor in bulk for distribution to guests. In other words couples who order for different favors for each table are ineligible for discounts. With 8-12 at each table the couple cannot order many of each favor and have to pay the full price for each one.

A second disadvantage is that it can make setting the tables more complicated. Special care has to be taken to place correct favors at the correct table with each table having a unique favor and a centerpiece designed to match the letter. If the favors are unwrapped it is obvious. But if they are wrapped it becomes incredibly different. Then only the person familiar with the favors and how they are wrapped should supervise the setting of the tables for correct positioning of the favors at the tables.

A third disadvantage in giving unique favors is that this creates discontent among the guests. A few guests may feel that the favors at the different tables are nicer and much better than the ones at their table. This may not be a major problem as most of the guests do not compare the favors. But if the couples want to address this problem they may keep the same wedding favors for each table.
